Suzanne Watson Obituary

Mrs. Suzanne DeLoach Watson VARNVILLE, SC - Mrs. Suzanne DeLoach Watson of Ooltewah, TN passed away at residence on May 22nd, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born December 9th, 1955 in Varnville, SC. Suzanne attended the College of Charleston and Trident Technical College. She was a realtor for 14 years in the greater Chattanooga area, and was a member of the Bayview Baptist Church of Ooltewah. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Rick; son Jonathan Watson (Ooltewah); daughter Rita Watson (Manhattan, NY); daughter Hannah Watston (Ooltewah); and grandson Noah Watson (Ooltewah). Also surviving are her father and stepmother, Don C. and Grace DeLoach (Varnville, SC); brother, Curtis DeLoach and his wife Jen (Varnville, SC); mother-in-law Willie Ruth Watson (Clinton, NC); many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Brant DeLoach. Suzanne dearly loved her husband, children, and family, and they will miss her. A vibrant, outgoing, and friendly person, Suzanne enjoyed people and had many friends. Her million-dollar smile and friendliness will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 2nd, 2012 at 2 P.M. in the Varnville First Baptist Church in Varnville, SC conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly. The family will receive friends in the church Social Hall from 1 to 2 P.M. prior to the service on Saturday afternoon. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN, 37415. Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton is assisting the family with all local arrangements.
