Suzanne Knight Obituary

Suzanne was so well loved because she gave so much love. Her love will always be with us, as will her example of strength, courage and perseverence as something to aspire to. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mr. and Mrs. Riddle and Scott and I wish you comfort in your memories.

I worked with Suzanne at MUSC. My prayers are with her family and friends during this sad time.

Please know that your family is in our every thought & prayer. We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss.

I have known Suzanne for many years. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by all that knew her. I pray that God blesses her husband and family during this time.

I had the privilege of working with Suzanne in the Compliance Dept at MUSC. She never hesitated to tell us all how much she loved you, Scott, and that you were her best friend. I will miss her, too.

My prayers are sent to Scott and Suzanne's family as you seek understanding for your terrible loss. I knew Suzanne quite well at MUSC and had the joy of working closely with her. Life brings many acquaintences but true friends are rare indeed. I have been blessed to be able to count my friend Suzanne as someone who brought beauty into my life and I will always remember her as the sweet young woman I knew.

There are very few of my chilhood memories that don't have the Riddle family in them. "John Ross Dr." would not have been the same without them. I was a few years younger than Chip and Suzanne, but thanks to my older sisters, I was able to tag along and pester them all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless.

An angel sat next to me one day

And spoke with such music

In her voice, and her smile

Reaching through a window

Years passed like leaves of fall

Caught up in whirlwinds, drifting

And lost, if ever for a moment it seems

she would return with a smile

putting others before herself

There are so many times over the years that I've thought about my sweet, funny friend Suzanne. Thinking of her has always brought a belly laugh, not just a smile. What a joy to have known her since we were five years old, growing up together, actually getting the opportunity to FLY to Florida together our senior trip. Mr. and Mrs. Riddle, thank you for the gift of having Suzanne and Chip in my life. You are so dearly on my heart, may God's gentle love hold you forever.

Suzanne was a part of my family. she will be deeply missed by myslef along with so many other friends. She shared her laughter w/ all & i am glad that i was truly able to celebrate and be a part of LIFE w/ Suzanne.

It is with a very heavy heart that we express our sadness in Suzanne's passing.You remain in our thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time.

To know her was to love her. We will miss her terribly, especially her lovely smile and sense of humor.

I lived in Suzanne and her late brother, Chip's neighborhood as a child. We had lots of fun with our clubs and tree houses. Suzanne made me laugh as did her brother, who was my school mate. Sincerest sympathy to her dear parents. God see you through this time.

Suzanne was a coworker and friend of mine whom I hold dear to my heart. It sadden me to hear of the loss of one who I hold dearly in my heart. Suzanne was a person who knew how to make you laugh and make you cry, she was so full of love and joy. I will truly miss her.



On November 29, 2005 GOD went to his rose garden to pick a rose for his heavenly vase. There were so many to choose from, but, there was one rose that stood out among all the others. This rose was bright, fully bloomed, beautiful and full of the morning dew. It was one that made sure it got His attention.

Suzanne is not gone because her memories will be forever. Suzanne just moved on. To be absent from body is to be present with the Lord.



Proverbs 3:5&6--Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. GOD BLESS!

I've known Suzanne for over ten years and hold her very dear to my heart. We met at work and became close friends very quickly. We could go lengthy periods of time without seeing each other, but when we would reunite, it was as if we had just seen each other the day before. We both love to laugh and did so many times. I love Suzanne with all my heart and am blessed to have known her. My prayers are for Scott and Suzanne's families for this sudden loss of Suzanne.

Suzanne was a very dear friend and a special person. I will miss her smile and her humour. You are now one of God's special angels. May you be at peace and in no more pain.
