Susan Wilson Obituary

WILSON, Susan Susan "Susie" F. Wilson, 69, of Goose Creek, the wife of David H. Wilson, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at a local hospital. Born June 21, 1939 in Angier, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Ferrell and Myrtle Honeycutt Ferrell. Susie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also devoted to her church family at Crowfield Baptist in Goose Creek. She was a retired dental hygienist with General Dentistry in Goose Creek. Her smile would light up a room and she never met a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, David; a son, Jeffery Frazier; a daughter, Linda Guin and her husband Larry and their son, Patrick of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two nieces, Ann Moore and her husband Harold "Monk" and Rebecca Partin and her husband Ezzell; and her dog, Murphy. A memorial service will be held at 7PM on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Crowfield Baptist Church, 100 Hunters Lane, Goose Creek. Inurnment will be held at 3PM on Sunday, April 19th at Lakeside Cemetery, Angier, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crowfield Baptist Church Building Fund. My heart and prayers go out to you David.
I always enjoyed seeing Susan come into the water park during the summer months. She always had a way of brighting up your day with her beautiful smile, i will always remimber her and her caring ways.

Suzie's faith in Christ was clearly demonstrated throughout her entire bout with this illness. Her joy and trust in Christ regardless of her earthly circumstances is an example for all to follow. I will miss her dearly, but I know I will see her again in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Susie will be missed by so many. I don't think Susie ever met a stranger. She had a way of making you feeled loved when you just met her. I am blessed to have known her.
