Susan Player Obituary

Susan Rady Player SUMMERVILLE - Susan Rady Player, 55, of Summerville, wife of Danny Player, Jr., passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at Roper Hospital. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 3:30 o'clock at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Summerville. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Flowers or donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, North Charleston, SC 29406. Mrs. Player was born January 4, 1957 in Ocala, Florida, daughter of the late Donald Edward Rady and Bette Maxwell Rady. She was a graduate of R.B. Stall High School and Trident Technical College. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, decorating and crafts. She was a former member of Summerville Junior Service League and worked at Alston Middle School as the attendance and discipline secretary. Surviving in addition to her husband are: two sons: Matthew Daniel Player of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Robert Austin Player of Southington, Connecticut, one sister: Amy Rashtchian (Mansour) of Summerville, two brothers: Paul Rady (Dorinda) of Wilmington, NC and Mark Rady (Rose) of Jacksonville, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. I am so sorry to learn about Susan. She was such a special person, I am glad I had a chance to get to know her in our small group at the Dewitt's. She was so great at AMS as well, so loving and helpful with William. My prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I had spoken with her at Roper Radiation Dept. in July. I know she is walking streets of gold now in Heaven.
