Susan Risher Meyers SENECA, SC - Susan Risher Meyers, 96, widow of Virgil C. Meyers, Sr. of Charleston, SC died peacefully on June 6, 2012. She was born in Canadys, SC on June 1, 1916, a daughter of Leonidas Michael and Zilla Bailey Risher and attended Colleton County Schools. Mrs. Meyers was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the DOES Auxiliary and was a volunteer with the Arthritis Foundation. She is survived by her son, V. Cliff Meyers, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a niece. The relatives and friends of Susan R. Meyers are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2012, at the James A. McAlister Chapel. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the James A.
