Susan Bost Obituary

Susan Beaty Bost EDISTO ISLAND, SC - Susan Beaty Bost, 'Susie', 63, of Edisto Island, SC, passed away on February 2, 2017. She was born on December 2, 1953 in Spartanburg, SC. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles James Bost; father, Troy Lester Beaty; and a sister, Kathy Beaty Stacy. Susie was originally from Spartanburg, SC where she attended Dorman High School. She spent her life in the service industry and loved interacting with people. Edisto Island was she and Jim's home for the past 20 years where they made many friends. Susie is survived by her mother, Margaret Cox Beaty of Spartanburg, SC; and two sons, Danny Ray Ponder and wife Audra of Buffalo, SC and Berry Jay Ponder and wife Amy of Simpsonville, SC; and six grandchildren, Hayden Ponder, Mya Ponder, Jacob Ponder, Grayson Ponder, Dalton Ponder, Gates Ponder. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Beaty Webster of Surrency, GA and Mary Jane Beaty Slagle and husband Jerry of Spartanburg. A memorial service for Susie will be held on February 17, 2017 at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church on 2153 Mount Lebanon Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321, at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Harry Hampton Wildlife Fund or charity of your choice. Margaret and Family,

We are so so very sorry for your loss . I remember Susie and I being in a Christmas play at church when we were just little girls.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
