Stuart Huseby Obituary

Stuart S. Huseby MT. PLEASANT - Stuart S. Huseby, beloved husband of Virginia (Ginny) Huseby of Mt. Pleasant, entered into the Kingdom of God, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, August 19, 2011 after a sudden illness. A Memorial Service for Stuart will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant on Friday, September 2, at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception in the Parish Life Center. Stuart was born on January 11, 1940 in Fergus Falls, MN. He attended George Washington University in Georgetown, DC, where he played basketball. Stuart was a great basketball player and played on a lawyer's league that played in the GA Tech dome. His love and devotion to his wife, family and friends stand out as his greatest personal trait and achievement. Stuart was loved by many people, as he had a great charming personality, and was never short on humor. Stuart's greatest joys were his family, business, golf, traveling and his dog Daisy. Stuart is survived by his wife Ginny Huseby and his loving family: sons, Scott A. Huseby and his wife, Joye, and their sons, Kody, Chase and Scott, Jr. of Mooresville, NC; Steve S. Huseby, and his wife Slone, and their children, Sydney and Evan of Roswell, GA; one step-daughter, Kim Colluro and her husband Marc, and their children Kieran and Connor of Braselton, GA; two brothers, Tom Huseby of Sarasota, FL; Sydney Huseby of Great Fall, MT; and one sister, Jennifer Hamm of Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 Highway 17 North, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466.
