Stewart Campbell Obituary

CAMPBELL, Stewart Stewart Vernon Campbell, 61, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the East Cooper Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant. The friends and family of Stewart Campbell are invited to attend his memorial service at the Chapel at Hibben United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 10:00 o'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mr. Campbell was born, November 3, 1945, in Nashua, New Hampshire, son of Robert C. Campbell and Verna G. Doucet Campbell. The Campbell family resided in Milford, New Hampshire and later moved to Hanover, Massachusetts. Mr. Campbell later returned to New Hampshire, residing in Milford, Mount Vernon and later in Wilton before moving to Mount Pleasant. He was a machinist and worked for NimCor and OK Tool Company and was also the sole proprietor of Scotty's clothing store in Wilton, New Hampshire. He was a member of the American Legion Post #136 in Mount Pleasant and was also a member of Hibben United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son, Wade Scott Campbell and a grandson, Ryan Campbell. He is also survived by a sister, Janet Duncan of Carver, Massachusetts, two brothers, Robert Campbell of Halifax, Massachusetts and Jeffrey Campbell of Nashua, New Hampshire, a dear friend, Stephanie Ellis of Mount Pleasant and his church family at Hibben United Methodist church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Cooper Community Outreach, 1145 Six Mile Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466.
