Kim,
I was devastated to hear of your loss. Steve was one of the most fun loving, easy going people I had the pleasure of knowing. He was a blast working with at Colonial Finance and I'm sorry to say I have not seen him in a couple of years.Just know that you and Corey are in my thoughts and prayers

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Steve's passing. Unfortunately, I did not know until Friday. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Cory, and Steve's family.

Dear KIm,
It has been many years since I had the pleasure of seeing you but I first met Steve about twenty years ago through Vicky. I am proud to say we stayed in touch. I have clients in Waltorboro and I would make a special trip stop by Steves office every couple of months.

It is amazing how many people Steve made an impact on. I always looked forward to seeing him, given his love of family, then fishing, he never ceased to be in wonder at how I had no fishing equipment on my boat. That seemed like such a waste to him. He never missed an opportunity to tease me about this glaring oversight!! Just thinking about it makes me smile. I sure hope heaven has a good place to fish or God will bever hear the end of it!!

I have known Corey since 1st grad and Steve was always there for us as a mentor, friend, and teacher..I have nothing but wonderful memories of either learning something new or just spending time with him. He always told me to push further and be successful, after HS and College I still kept in touch with Steve, and I know I always will..

When I got a phone call yesterday morning and heard about Steve, it was very shocking and sad. Steve was one of the most considerate and compassionate of people that all of us has ever known. He was a great influence to all of us. A true friend to all and the greatest sense of humor that anyone has ever seen. Those are the two things that I will always remember him by. We all have lost a great person in our life.

I know that you don't know me - I'm Larry Robertson's Dad. I am So Sorry for your loss. It was a total shock when Larry called me. Just wanted you to know, that I talked to Steve several times over the years, Mostly to Thank Him for his Help and Support for Larry. Larry always thought so much of Steve and he was a True Friend to Larry. Unfortunately, we have lost one of the 'Good Guys', aren't many around anymore. God bless you and your family during this most difficult time. Steve was inspirational in Jeb pursuing the US Naval Academy. His words, though often funny or outragous, were encouraging and kind. We will miss our lake outings with him and the Derby parties will never be the same. You are in our prayers.

Steve was a good and true friend. He was always able to make me laugh.I'll miss "Fish Boy Steve."

Please accept my condolences. Steve was one of my best friends. It's so hard, knowing that he is gone. I know it's even harder for you all. his life was too short on this earth. He could always bring out the best in people. And was always the life of the party, and will be missed by many of his friends. He did have many of those.
He will be missed deeply, and never be forgotten. We all loved him very much, and will always. Same goes for the both of you. Just don't forget, Steve will always be there looking down on us, so let's remember all the good times of this great guy.
