Steven Epton Obituary

Steven Epton Summerville - Steven (Steve) Thomas Epton, 71, husband of Martha Gravley Epton, of Summerville, passed away on March 9, 2022. Steve was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 16, 1950. He was the son of Thomas Arthur and Elizabeth Ann Epton. He graduated from Chapman High School in 1968 and Clemson University in 1972, where he was a percussionist in the Tiger Band. Steve was an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge, the District Executive of Boy Scouts of America in both Greenville and Oconee counties, and Cubmaster Pack 31 in Seneca, South Carolina. He was the owner of Wood-N-Stuff and a faithful Baptist. Steve is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Martha Gravley Epton; his sons: John Epton (Jodi) of Pittsburgh, PA; Andy Epton (Lisa) of Grand Blanc, MI; and Tom Epton (Allison) of Summerville, SC; and his grandchildren: Macgregor, Hannah, Abby, Maggie, and Emma.
