I worked with Steve at St. John's High School and periodically kept in touch with him after he left there. I got to observe him with the students and as he did not come from a background as a career teacher he had a unique work/life experience perspective that really connected with the kids. He was genuine and kind with his time at the school and I always saw him at football games supporting the kids. He had a great sense of humor and we had many great conversations. Truly a funny, good man. Rest in peace.

Steve came from 'good stock'. - As a HoVal alumni, I remember his perpetually happy/friendly/caring demeanor, smiling face, and curly locks. - Condolences & Best Wishes to his family through these difficult times.

I hired Steve for carpenter work and his work was amazing. We became good friends over the years & he introduced me to Valerie. Steve was quite the philosopher. He helped me through some difficult times (Val too). I look at his work every day and many good memories come back. I can almost hear Steve in heaven right now, chatting away. May God give Val and his daughters the strength they'll need to carry on

Valerie: Words cannot begin to express my condolences for you and your family. But at least now Steve is out of pain and now with the angels. Your memories and love will last a lifetime. Some days I am sure will be better than others but God is good and will be there to provide the comfort you and your family will need. You are a strong woman with a beautiful heart and soul and are loved by many. God Bless and Fly High now Steve and provide your family with the comfort they will need in the coming days and years.
