Stephen Robert Jayme was born May 24, 1962 in Ridgewood, NJ. Steve was born to William and Mary Jayme. Throughout his life, Steve was an avid baseball fan and music lover. Steve lived most of his adolescence with his older brother David and thus graduated from High School in Branford, CT. Steve was also an avid dog lover who truly considered Ashley and Cubby members of his family with all the benefits of familial living.
As an adult Steve lived in Des Moines, Iowa, Brooklyn, NY, Bergen County, NJ, and most recently in Gresham, OR. Steve lacked affiliation with organized religion for almost three decades, but was a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As an East Coast native, Steve was a true-blue democrat. In the past year Steve suffered a couple of major blows to his life, from which he was unable to rebound.
Steve was discovered lifeless where he was residing in Greham, Oregon on March 12, 2021. Steve is survived by his siblings, David (Donna) Jayme of Las Vegas, NV: Michael (Emily) Jayme of Pocatello, ID, and Jennifer Jayme of Las Vegas, NV. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
