So hard to believe that Steve has been gone for 9 years. His name and great stories about him come up in conversations among his friends so often. Remembering him takes me back to a time of life that was as full of uncertainties as it was of joyous curiosity. I owe him, and I miss him.

Looking back across these many years, I remember how much of an impact Steve had on my life. He was a really good bad influence! I still think of him and see his smile on others faces, and he has appeared in my dreams many times. My faith assures me that he is happy now and at peace. My thoughts are with his family today.

Steve was one of first people I met on the day I started at SPAWAR. His cubicle was right across from mine. He had me laughing from the first moment, and he made the work day so much more enjoyable. I will miss and remember him for not only his warm personality but also his big heart.

Thank you to all for the lovely, messages, calls, flowers, and work that made Steve's Celebration of Life turn out so beautiful. There was a huge turnout. Yet for our mother, I know this can not be a "Happy" Mother's Day, but I know that our family will lift each other up to get through this tragic loss as we have survived the others. Tommy, Steve, and I love you so much mom. I wish he would have left you with another grand child or 4 as he recently told me. I am so glad you have Carley and Cayla for grand daughters. John & I worked so hard to do that for you(haha). With love,

Dear Dawn and family, I am saddened and shocked to read of Steve's passing. Although its been a few years since we've seen eachother I will always remember the times we all shared in Newington as neighbors and when my father used to be photographer for motorcycle racing at Summerville speedway when Steve enjoyed riding/competeing. I am glad I got to re-connect with you and your family years later at S'ville highschool. I will be thinking about you and your family. Sincerely Lisa

I worked with Steve in the late 80's at Entre Computer Center in West Ashley. He was in the Network dept. and I was in sales selling the network he was putting together. He was so funny, quick witted and just an overall terrific guy. Everyone liked Steve. I am so sorry for his family's loss.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Steve's family. He was such a wonderful person. We will always cherish our childhood memories of Steve and all the kids in Newington Plantation. Steve was always the kid smiling, laughing and just having fun. What wonderful times we shared. We crossed paths with Steve 30 years later at Edisto Beach and had a wonderful time reconnecting. He was the same old Steve we had loved as kids. We will forever treasure that time we shared. He was so loved and will be deeply missed. We will see you again our Friend. God Bless.

We are extremely saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Our collective childhood growing up together in Summerville were made all the better for having known Steve. We remember fondly his wit and great sense of humor, his intelligence, his fun and ever-happy spirit and sense of adventure, and his ability to make us laugh. And certainly, he was every girl's biggest crush in high school.

He put a lot of life into his years here on Earth so may his Flight Plan put him at Full Throttle and Gear Up to the Heavens. No more Pain for him and may the Family, Loved Ones, and Friends find comfort in each other.
