Just another message to Stevie Jr. and all of the DuPree family-Pete will be missed dearly by many people, but especially from the docks. Pete always told you like it was, but you knew no matter what, he always did the job the right way and the first time, got on your tail if you didnt, then he'd help you to get it done quickly and safely. I always enjoyed working with Pete-he kept me laughing but it made the day fly by! I, as well as many on the dock, are going to miss him a lot. Try to remember that all his pain is gone now, and he's probably cutting up with old friends and family as God laughs at his conversations. Trust in the Lord during such a difficult time-he is always there for you and won't let Pete's family suffer alone, but instead he will ease all burdens. Please let me know if I can do anything to help out if need be. God bless.

As a member of the I.L.A.1771 I can attest that Pete set a legacy on how to perform your job with integrety, honesty, dependability, and humor. It was a pleasure to work with him and he will be sadly missed. I believe all of us in the Union will think of Pete often. May God bless the Dupree family and see them through this time of sadness.
