Stephen Brian Anderson N. CHARLESTON - Brian Anderson, 55, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 2, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Cathedral, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Brian was born January 23, 1968, in Charleston, SC, son of Mary Brinson and the late George Anderson. He was a member of Cathedral and played baseball at Baptist College. He was an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan. The loves of Brian's life were his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Mary Brinson; three children, Matthew (Mara) Anderson of Summerville, SC, Brittany (Waldrick) Anderson of North Charleston, SC, and Jaxon Anderson of Bufford, GA; five grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Dakota Anderson, Eliza Green, Jack Anderson, Callie Anderson; two siblings, Davey (Suzanne) Anderson of Hanahan, SC, and Ben (Cindy) Brinson of Seattle, WA; and many loved family members. He was preceded in death by his fathers, George Anderson and Thomas Brinson; and his sister, Alise Brinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WakeUp Carolina in Mt. Pleasant, SC, and/or Adult & Teen Challenge of South Carolina in Georgetown, SC, organizations that Brian was passionate about to help others.
