Stephanie Ann Surface Wiggins N. CHARLESTON - Stephanie Ann Surface Wiggins, born 8/3/57, died 12/2/2020. Stephanie was predeceased by her parents, Gerald A. and Ethel T. Surface of North Charleston, SC; by her oldest brother, Gerald L. Surface; and by Michael R.Martin, father of Natalie M. Roellig; and Larry Hoover, father of Paul G. Hoover and Jesse A. Hoover. Stephanie leaves to mourn her passing her sisters, Constance Rozyczko (Charles) of Syracuse, NY and Thomasita Surface of North Charleston, SC; and her brothers, Howard Surface (Anna) of Cary, NC; Michael Surface of Cheyenne, WY, and J. Robert Surface of Greenville, NC. Stephanie also leaves 3 children, Natalie M.Roellig (Eric) of Ladson SC; Paul G. Hoover of North Charleston, SC; and Jesse A. Hoover (Dana), currently an enlisted member of the US Navy. Stephanie also leaves 3 beloved grandchildren, Marlee Reign Roellig, Maycee Belle Roellig, and Colton Francis Hoover. Stephanie was a tireless worker, counting truckdriver, ship's chandler, and US Post Office Rural Mail Carrier on her resume. She will best be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren beyond all bounds. Stephanie was raised in a fiercely Catholic home and firmly believed in Heaven. Her family knows that her spirit now rests in the grace of the life beyond. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held in Spring 2021, once the horror of the global pandemic has subsided. Sleep well, sweet daughter, sister,mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
