I can’t believe Stathy has been gone for 7 years. I miss him a great deal. His laugh. His jokes. He’s one of the smartest persons I’ve ever met. And when basketball season comes around, it’s even harder not having stathy around, not to mention March Madness. May he continue to rest in peace.

Stathy was a wonderful man who I got to know only since moving to Charleston 7 years ago. He loved his family and had a great love for The Citadel. I can say that he was a "great Citadel man." I think he would be proud to be called that. He will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him. Rest in peace my friend.
