Stanley Zerbe Obituary

ZERBE


STANLEY V., on May 5, 2009 of Southampton Estates, formerly of Langhorne, age 88 yrs. Stanley was a long time educator in the Neshaminy School District and a graduate of both Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. An avid traveler and photographer, he and his wife Anne lived abroad in both Germany and the Netherlands at several times. In earlier years he was active in the Reading Civic Opera Company, the Reading Choral Society and more recently he was locally involved in the Abington Music Theatre. Stanley served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre during WWII and was a long time member of the Army Reserve. The beloved husband of Anne (nee Eschbach), he is also survived by his children Carol Zerbe and Dr. Robert S. Zerbe. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday May 9 from 9:30 A.M. at the KIRK AND NICE SUBURBAN CHAPEL, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville PA, 215-354-0085 where Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory should be made to the U.S. Army Emergency Relief Fund, c/o Army Community Service, 5201 Maryland Ave, Ft. Dix, NJ 08640.
