Sixta Fabian Obituary

FABIAN, Sixta Sixta Gozum Fabian, age 90, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Cosme Fabian, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 30, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 6650 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29418. Entombment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, S.C. 29406. There will be a Rosary said at 7:00 p.m., Saturday night. Survivors include her three daughters, Carmelita Manalansan of Canada, Maria Fabian Bazen and her husband Larry of North Charleston, SC, Immaculada Pana and her husband Esteban of North Charleston, SC, six sons, Diosdado Fabian and his wife Catalina, Ruben Fabian and his wife Arsenia, Armando Fabian and his wife Edna, Efren Fabian and his wife Teresita, Orlando Fabian and his wife Teresita, Ismael Fabian and his wife Merla, all the sons are from North Charleston, SC. Also included are 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Nene Gozum of the Philippines. Predeceased by her husband, Cosme Fabian and brother, Agaton Gozum. Mrs. Fabian was born on March 30, 1915, in Victoria Tarlac, Philippines. She was the daughter of Ciriaco Gozum and Maria Canlas Gozum. She was a homemaker and Catholic in faith.
