Shirley Ann Spann SUMMERVILLE - Mrs. Shirley Ann Spann, 53, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of Elder Kenneth L. Spann, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Funeral services celebrating the life of will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in Destiny Worship Center, 3625 Azalea Dr., North Charleston, SC 29405. She will be entombed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2915 Ashley Phosphate Rd., North Charleston, SC 29418. The viewing will be held on Sunday, afternoon October 17, 2021, at the mortuary from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. She is also survived by her loving daughter, Desere Spann; grandchild, Honesti Mack; parents, William Gates and Maryanne Fairnot Gates and Nathaniel Keitt and Albertha Gates Keitt; siblings: Alfrod Keitt, Sally A. K. Bain, Elder Mary M. Davis, Terry C.E. Keitt, Kenneth Glover (Trice) and Alkeisha M. Gates; uncles: Sonny Gates (Willie Faye), Elder Arthur Fairnot (Bertha), James Edward Gates, and Emilio Rush; aunts: Helen Abraham (Joseph), Glennie Jefferson (James), and Margaret Kinley (Willie); grandaunts, Carrie Zeigler, and Carrie Thompson; sisters-in-law: Clemintine Mixon, Joyce Daniels, Patricia Patterson (Robert), and Rosa Ann Spann; brothers-in-law: Herman Spann (Kim), Frankie Spann (Faye), William Spann, McCarthy Spann, and Charles Spann and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Godson, Jaivon Pelzer; and siblings: Nathaniel Keitt, Jr., John G. Keitt, and Joe Randy Keitt.
