Shirley Finucan Obituary

FINUCAN, Shirley Shirley Locklair Blume Finucan, widow of James R. Blume and I. Edward Finucan, of Summerville, SC, died Saturday, April 2, 2005. Funeral services will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church - Spell Chapel, Tuesday morning, April 5, 2005, at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville, SC, this Monday evening from 6 to 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Mrs. Finucan was born in Summerville, SC, a daughter of George Wesley Locklair and Vera Virginia Knight Locklair. She was a retired secretary for the Dorchester Human Development Board and she was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Survivors include her three sons, James R. Blume, Jr., and his wife, Erin of Poland, OH, Steven L. Blume and his wife, Kay of Crawfordville, FL, William A. Blume of FL; three step-daughters, Dreta Rentiers and her husband, Charles and Linda Parker and her husband, Michael, all of Summerville, SC, Theresa Wofford and her husband, Charles of Pinopolis, SC; two brothers, George Wesley Locklair, Jr., and his wife, Ethelyn and John Lynwood Locklair and his wife, Amy, all of Summerville, SC; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
