Shirley Dillard Obituary

Shirley Johnson Dillard CHARLESTON - Shirley Johnson Dillard entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2022. She was surrounded by family and friends. Shirley was born on October 11, 1935, in Charleston, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Robert Calvin Johnson and Sue Eda Spann Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert G. Dillard, of Charleston, SC; a sister, Fay Johnson von Lehe of Charleston, SC; the late Richard E. Johnson (Sue) of Summerville, SC; and the late Robert C. Johnson Jr. (Martha) of Jasper Georgia; as well as many nieces and nephews. Shirley graduated from Rivers High School in 1953. She worked for Johnson and Johnson Insurance Managers and retired in 1998. She was a member of Asbury-St. James UMC. Arrangements handled by Charleston Cremation Center. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roper Hospice Cottage, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 or Asbury-St James UMC, 754 Rutledge Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403. It´s been 1 year since we lost you, our beloved aunt. We miss you and Bobby very much, as well as uncle Earl and my mom and dad. Not a day goes by that we think of you all. We love and miss you all.

My dear Aunt Shirley;
We love you and will miss you so very much. We are so grateful that you are no longer suffering.
You are with grand mama and grand daddy and your brothers now. May you all be rejoicing in each other´s arms. We love and miss you all so very much. We know that the good lord will bless and keep you in his loving arms.
