Shirley Anne Smith Brown HUGER, SC - Shirley Anne Smith Brown, 72, of Huger, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Her graveside service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel. Shirley was born January 8, 1951 in Dalton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Earl Smith and the late Juanita Hooker Smith. She received her GED. She worked at Detyens shipyard, Kmart and Belk's. She is survived by three sons, Harold Otto (Pamela) Brown, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC, Robert (Diane) Brown of Haskett, MI, David Brown of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Patricia (Maurice) Frasier of Huger, SC; sister, Betty Castleman of Tunnell Hill, GA; eleven grandchildren, Patrick Brown, Christopher Brown, Eboni Riddle, Shawn Brown, Samantha Brown, Derrell Brown, Brandi Brown, Breannah Brown, Riley Brown, Xander Brown, Xoey Brown; ten great-grandchildren, Vincent Brown, Trenton Brown, Landon Broadus, London Broadus, Kaiden Brown, Amina Brown, Kameron Riddle, Ivory Riddle, Kimora Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Otto Brown, grandchild, Brittany Brown, and great-grandchild, Noah Christopher Brown.
