Yet another fallen comrade. An affable, laughable schoolmate and friend who was my go to guy for his quick quips and lovingly, cutting remarks. These happier times are indelible and will always be cherished by me in my memories of this dear man. Rest In Peace Rick, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad I got to see him at your wedding anniversary & as usual, he was upbeat & funny. He will be missed at our gatherings. It was a privledge to know him. I did not know Mr. Pando, but I did have the honor/pleasure of teaching both of his lovely daughters!! They were stellar students, kind, thoughtful.....and happy! That says a LOT about their upbringing and family.

Patsy, Stan and I were deeply saddened to hear of Ricks passing. A candle (My Portuguese old world tradition) has been burning in his memory along with prayers being said for you, your girls, and extended family. What a wonderful memory for you to have that the two of you were able to celebrate your Golden Anniversary. That in itself is a testament to the commitment, love, and character of Rick. What a Great Man! I had the privledge of working with Ricky for a few years and enjoyed every minute of it. He could always make me laugh, and continued to do so 20 yrs later, Every Friday seeing him push the cart at "Vons" while Patsy and I compared grocery coupons.
