N. Charleston - Shawn Suzanne McManus, 65, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Her Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Shawn was born March 28, 1960 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughter of the late John B. McManus and the late Norma Jean Holcombe McManus. Known for her passion for gardening, Shawn cultivated not only plants but also friendships that flourished throughout her life. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing nature-each bloom and green sprout a reflection of her dedication, patience, and love. Friends and family would often find solace in her tranquil outdoor haven, where laughter and meaningful conversations thrived among the flowers and greenery. Shawn's legacy extends beyond her green thumb; she leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. In the years ahead, her spirit will continue to inspire those who remain, as they cherish the lessons of compassion, hope, and joy she imparted through her everyday actions.

She is survived by two brothers, John R. McManus of North Charleston, SC, Zan R. McManus (Teri) of Twin Falls, ID; niece, Jennifer Danielle McManus of Charleston, SC.
