Gale's theory is that the more constants we have in our lives, the richer our lives are. I believe that, too. With Sharon gone, a constant has dimmed, but the memories are wonderful. We miss her so very much.

Sharon will be missed. She was very supportive when I lost my son Robert August Earle, III. Knowing Sharon and her family and being a student in her father's class at Salem College was a privilege.

Mr. Charlie and Kenny,
Sharon was very special to me and to those whom she came in contact with regardless if it was needed Lactation services or training. She always showed compassion, patience and care for the clients as well as the staff. I am thankful for the 19 years that I've known her. I miss her greatly, but I will continue to cherish the time I spent with her.
I will continue to keep you and Kenny in my prayers.
God bless.

Mr. Spriggs and Family,
It was an honor to take care of Mrs. Spriggs at such an intimate time in her life. Even though we only knew eachother for a short while, the love that was shown from everyone was amazing to see. As nurses we deal with death, dying and suffering. It is sad to see patients suffering and dying alone. It was a breath of fresh air to see how loved Mrs. Spriggs was. I was honored to take care of her and I pray that God gives you peace in this difficult time.

Charlie - I hope you read this and know that I am thinking of you. I have wonderful memories of the time I spent with you and Sharon when I lived in Charleston. (especially when I was pregnant with Aubrie!) She always had a listening ear and was a super co-worker when I worked with her at the health department. I am so sad that I did not get to see her again. I will always regret it. Love to you and your family during this time of sadness. Your friend, Pam McFarland

Sharon was such a dedicated supporter and advocate for breastfeeding women in South Carolina. Her hard work and dedication will long be evident in South Carolina. She will be greatly missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Sharon was an inspiration to so many of us, she was truly one of the most compassionate and considerate people I have ever known. She will be greatly missed, but her work will live on and be passed for generations. Most of us hope to make a difference in this world and to leave this world better than we found it, Sharon did that. May God's love and memories of Sharon bring peace to her family and all of those mourning her loss.

Dearest Charlie and family,
We join you in your sorrow but rejoice in knowing that Sharon now rests in the arms of our Lord. She was and is a precious daughter of God's and sister in Christ. We will see her again!!!! You are a dear friend and please know that we love you and are here for you. Your comfort is in God and He will give you the strength and courage to face the coming days. If there is anything we can do, let us know. We will continue to pray for you and the family during this difficult time.
In His Love and ours,
