Sharon Meyer Obituary

Sharon Kay Meyer Mt. Pleasant - Sharon Kay Meyer, 70, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Stephen W. Meyer, died Thursday, April 27, 2017, peacefully at home in the presence of her family. Sharon was born March 22, 1947, in Long Beach, California, daughter of the late Cyril Heniger and the late Vivian Porterfield Heniger. She was a medical transcriptionist for 25 years at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California and then at East Cooper Medical Center and Lowcountry Hematology and Oncology. She was a member of the Rivertowne Country Club. Sharon enjoyed reading, traveling, history, cinema, and concerts. In addition to her husband of nearly 50 years, Steve, she is survived by her children, Julie Meyer and John Meyer; three grandchildren, Jay Meyer, Stevie Barto, and Dean Barto; and her brother, Jerry Heniger.
