Charleston - The relatives and friends of Shahid Saleem Shabazz (aka Melvin Wiggins Hutchinson, Jr.), are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, 11:00 AM, July 31, 2021 at Destiny Worship Center, 3625 Azalea Dr., North Charleston, SC. Interment - Ocean View Cemetery, 534-598 McCants Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC. A public viewing will be held Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Mr. Shabazz is survived by his children: Fatima Gadsden (Daniel), Chae Waring (Marcus), Denzel Heyward (Shanikqua), Tiffany Gadsden Stevens (Terry), Shavion Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren; brother, Timothy Hutchinson, Sr. (Ashley); 7 nephews; aunts and uncles: Saundra Edwards, Angie Edwards, Constance Edwards, Gloria Wise (Harry), Henrietta Wise, Armand Edwards, Walter Edwards, Jr. (Deborah), Edward Logan, and Edward Wise.
