Sean Trundy Obituary

Sean Kevin Trundy CHARLESTON - Sean Kevin Trundy went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023 after battling a long illness. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Trundy and his father, Kevin Walter Trundy. He was born on September 19, 1970 in Framingham, Massachusetts. He is survived by his sister, Kara Anne Morris and her husband, Dale C. Morris, his beloved nephews & niece; Jack Douglas, Tyler Kevin and Sophie Anne Morris of Millinocket, Maine. Additionally, he is survived by his Aunt Margaret R. Trundy, his Aunt Nancy M. Peters and her husband, Paul Peters, Sr. and their son, Paul R. Peters, Jr. of Natick, Massachusetts. Sean graduated from Natick High School in 1988. He then graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC in 1992 and went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1995. During school, his Class of 92' Citadel Brothers were his family away from home. In the end, they were HOME to him. They were and will always be his comrades, his confidants, his shoulders. Additionally, the family would like to recognize his very dear friends who assisted him with daily needs to the very end. He was blessed to have you in his life and we are grateful for your kinship. Sean personified "living life to the fullest". He had a voracious love of reading and would devour books faster than you could recommend them. A close second hobby was writing. Whether it be lists, recipes, advice for his nephews, niece and Godchildren or the emails that you had to clear your calendar to read because they were as insightful as they were long. He also received fulfillment in building homes with Habitat for Humanity. His sense of humor, quick wit and infectious laugh will outlive him in our hearts for years to come. A Celebration of Life Toast will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, January 20th at The Griffon, 18 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC 29401. Any donations made in Sean's honor we request to go to The Citadel, 171 Moultrie St., Charleston, SC 29409. Lastly, don't ever be afraid to laugh the loudest in the theater, for his Irish eyes will be smiling down with pride upon you. In closing Sean, "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. The rains fall soft upon your fields, And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His Hand." ~ Irish Blessing Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston

From helping start the now famous "Billy Wade" chant to making up songs about everyone we could, I will always cherish the funny memories with my Golf `92 brother. You´re in a better place and the next time I yell BILLY WADE , laugh uncontrollably, or listen to Steely Dan, it´s for you Sean. RIP my friend

Sean, my dearest brother, the world is a different place without you. I do not have the words to express my sorrow. I'm at peace knowing you are in our savior's arms now. Your pain and struggles are finished. Suffer no more. I love you and miss you dearly. You will eternally be my friend. Farewell brother.
