Hi, My name is Monisha Rodgers.I am very saddened to hear about Mrs.Sandi passing.I met Mrs.Sandi and her Husband Jimmie in 1992 in Homested Florida right after hurricane Andrew. I was 9 years old. I have never forgotten them because they were so kind they were assisting people with giving out food and clothes we were so grateful for their help but what always stuck in my heart was my birthday was 8/26 and the hurricane hit Florida 8/28 so with all the preparations to try and survive the hurricane that was first priority however after the hurricane came and past and them speaking to me and they found out my birthday just passed and the hurricane destroyed any plans my family had for me I received one birthday gift that year and it was from Mrs.Sandi and Jimmie it was a bible titled My little bible I still have it to this day I read it with my kids. A simple gesture that they made I kept in my heart for a life time.i always thought of you and wanted to see you again my heart hurts to know that Mrs.sandi passed on before I can get a chance to tell her how much they you both meant to me. Our hearts are broken for our loss. We know Miss Sandi is singing and dancing in heaven. Her joyful smile and loving heart will be missed. She was such a prayer warrior and mentor. Mrs Creach was such a sweet woman. I took care of her when she was at Roper rehab. I have never met someone with so much motivation. She always had a kind word to uplift me. She is someone I will never forget. Praying for the family during this time

I'll always remember Sandi and her work in the Association. She helped so many people (along with you, Jimmy). Her personality was huge and she made everyone feel comfortable and loved!
