Sarah Turner Obituary

Sarah Turner HANAHAN - On January 6, 2023, Sarah May Edwards Turner passed surrounded by loved ones and just shy of her 105th birthday. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Samuel M. Turner, Sr. of almost 61 years and her first grandson, Mark Turner. Born April 24, 1918 in Oconee County, SC. Sarah was a daughter of the late Clinton F. and May Snead Edwards. She was a devoted loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, having had seven grandkids and 6 great grand kids. Sarah loved the Lord and led a good life. A member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She loved life, She is survived by sons, Samuel Turner, Jr. (Betty) of Hanahan, Phillip Turner (Deb) of Easley, SC and daughter, Jeanette Johnson of Hanahan. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 11 am at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1444 Remount Rd., Hanahan. The Life Celebrated Service will follow in church at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 71113 Rivers Ave.. North Charleston. Memorials may be made to either Aldersgate United Methodist Church, The Kidney Foundation or to the charity of choice. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
