Sarah Betsill Padgett LEXINGTON, SC - Sarah Betsill Padgett, 84, of Lexington, SC, passed away on August 28, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg, SC, with Reverend Bill Haselden officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Sarah's life. Sarah was born in Orangeburg, SC to the late Richard Antonio Betsill and Henrietta King Betsill. Sarah was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was known for achievements in life such as Valedictorian of her class, a strong business Woman, Supporter of DAR and a Woman of Faith. Sarah is survived by her two sons, Richard Lawrence O'Cain and William Lewis O'Cain (Diane) all of Monticello, GA ; two sisters, Bonnie Betsill Stroman (Richard) and Toni Betsill Steeleb (Kevin); nieces and nephews; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Joe "Bob" Padgett.
