As Aunt Sarah's great niece I didn't spend as much time with her as many but still just as sad to learn of her passing. My memories of her were fruitcake at Christmas always and pleasant visits at her beautifully old Winter Park home. She was a gracious person and I was happy to learn of her philanthropy. I hope her legacy and the Galloways' will continue to live on through others.

I remember Aunt Sarah as being Uncle Joe's supporter. Whether it be the U S Navy or The Winter Park Telephone Co. She was always there, with her most gracious southern hospitality, to support him.I remember when Uncle Joe first brought Aunt Sarah to the farm to meet Lena and Daddad (Joe's mother & father). It was a great time of celebration!

My family was saddened to hear of Aunt Sarah's passing. We have many memories of her while we were growing up when my parents would visit her and her husband on various occasions. She also used to babysit me and I have fond memories of those visits, when she lived in Winter Park. She is now out of pain and in a better place.

We were saddened to learn of Sarah's passing. She was a true lady and I looked forward to our telephone conversations over the years. She was a great supporter of the Carl Hill Galloway Pioneer Club and many worthwhile and charitable organizations.
