Candy, my heart goes out to you. My sister called me with the news of your mother. It made me sad, but reading her life's journey and recalling my own memories of her, the sadness diminished. Since a child, I recall your mother as joyful, smiling, helping, and welcoming of her daughter's friends. I know what a special and close mother/daughter relationship you had together. Having lost my own mother several years ago, just know that your mother is close by, and you will feel her presence, may even hear her voice, at the most unexpected times. And, know too that the Lord holds you in the palm of His hand in the days ahead. Mary Duda Kelly, Collierville, TN

Cassandra, What a wonderful inspiration your Mom must have been to you all these years and what a wonderful receptive daughter you are. It is easy to see where you got your love of art and people. I know you will miss her but you can know that you made her life fuller and more rewarding with your love and devotion.
Much love, Pat and Tom

I will miss Miss Sarah. I looked forward to our visits when I was her hospice chaplain, and loved her interesting stories, and sweet spirit. Candy, you are an awesome woman, and daughter. The care and love you gave your mom were such a gift to her- she loved you so very much.
My prayers are with you: Cyndi Boot
