Condolences. Shifra was a free thinker to be sure. It was always a pleasure to schmooze assuming one had the time.

I had a special friendship with Shifra. She was a wonderful friend. So interesting and full of stories. She even gave her favorite four footed child Monty to me . He was a wonderful pet. He lived to be almost 20. I will miss both of them. Hugs to Dr Rosen and Joannie. Anne Royall

I have known Mrs. Shifra for a short time but, I felt I have known her for years. She has a very sweet spirit and she is the sunshine on a cloudy day. I am honored to have known her and it's amazing hearing her history and her past when she would speak upon those memories. I am with a heavy heart to speak of her and I feel more heavy heart when I think of the family, friends, associates, and colleagues. My prayers are with you all. I hope all will remember Shifras warm smile and cherish every moment of her life in our hearts. Rest in Peace.

I've missed seeing Shifra on my visits to the beach these past years. She was so uplifting to be around, even if she was always reminding me of the time in 1970 that Jack took all of my wisdom teeth out at once and left for lunch with strict instructions to Shifra to hold my tongue out of my mouth for the whole time he was gone. She was one of a kind! My love to Sam and Joannie.

I was a patient of Dr. Rosen and his wife until Dr. Rosen retired. I have many fond memories of both of them. They were very special. My deepest sympathy to you on your loss.

When I was engaged to Russell, I visited Charleston for the first time before our wedding and who did I stay with? Aunt Shifra and Uncle Jack!! They were most gracious and it was so much fun to be with this warm, friendly family.
I have wonderful memories of this Charleston family and remember how much my New York family enjoyed Aunt Shifra. She was so witty and great fun to be around at all our family functions.
May her memory stay with all of you always.
Love,
Eileen
