Sara Chandler Hutto REEVESVILLE, SC - Sara Chandler Hutto, 93, of Reevesville, widow of William Wesley (Sonny) Hutto, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Old St. George Baptist Church with Rev. James Way officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church. Sara was born on June 2, 1930 in Clinton, SC, a daughter of the late Carl Irby Chandler and Maggie Lynch Chandler. She was a graduate of Mountville High School and Lander College. She then went to the University of South Carolina and received her school librarian degree and later her Master's degree from the Citadel. She was a schoolteacher and librarian at St George and Branchville High Schools. She was a member of Old St. George Baptist Church. She was predeceased by brothers, Irby Chandler and Paul Chandler. Surviving is a daughter, Carla H. (Jack) O'Toole.
