She attended Denmark High School and graduated in 1939. After marrying Harlan David Crook of Ellisville, MS in 1941, they raised a daughter and three sons. After retirement and the death of her husband, while living in Simpsonville, SC, she worked seasonally at Greenville Technical College bookstore and also volunteered at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt whose greatest joys came from serving her Lord and being with family, friends and her church fellowship. I worked with Sara in the Security Office at NWS, and I can tell you that every day Sara read her Bible and she always greeted people with a smile. To me Sara was an Advisor, Mentor, and above all, a true friend. I missed her a lot when I transferred to a new job. I know you and many others will miss her daily. May God keep you in his care.

I so remember Mr and Mrs Crook taking such good care of us as teenagers at Brentwood Church. My entire family remembers all of you fondly. Your mother was a wonderful woman.
