Sandra Teal Obituary

Sandra Jean Teal, 72, of Russellville, SC, passed away peacefully on the evening of September 17, 2025, at her residence. Born on February 27, 1953, in Cainhoy, SC, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Albert Just and Mattie Cornelia Legare Just. Ms. Teal was a proud graduate of Macedonia High School and dedicated many years of her life working as a machine operator for Albany International. She also worked as a forklift operator for ALPEX Polyester.

Ms. Teal had a passion for life and enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. She was an avid crafter, creating beautiful bird feeders and windchimes, and found joy in fishing and flower gardening. Her love for the mountains, especially Maggie Valley, was well known among her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ms. Teal was preceded in death by two brothers, John E. Just and Joseph E. Just.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian D. Just of Russellville, and David P. Teal of St. Stephen; her sisters, Patti Long of Awendaw, and Peggy Pyles of Live Oak, FL; her brothers, Michael Just of Shulerville, and Karl Just of Bradenton, FL; and her cherished grandchildren, Rhiannon Lane Just, Braeden Parker Just, Joseph Drake Just, and Jesse Hazzard Just.

Sandra's family remembers her as a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 3060 Witherbee Rd., Cordesville, SC 29434. A private service will be held in her honor at a later date.
