Sandra Smith Obituary

Sandra Jean Snell Smith Summerville - Sandra Jean Snell Smith, 75, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 26, 2022 after a very brief illness with brain cancer. Sandy was a recognizable face as a mammographer and breast navigator at East Cooper Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Sandy loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandy was born April 5, 1946 in Orlando, Florida, daughter of the late Glenn Elmer Snell and Edith Pauline Thompson Snell. Sandra is survived by her husband of 53 years, Randall Dean Smith; her daughter, Christi Smith Cook, M.D. (Joel) of Charleston, SC; her son, Randall Dean Smith, II of Summerville, SC; her brother, James Ronald Snell of Granite Falls, NC; and two grandchildren, Marshall Conrad Geier and Madeline Sinclair Geier. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roper Hospice Cottage, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J.
