The world has lost a very good man. He was quick with a kind word and a friendly smile. He loved his family and raised some wonderful children. He will be missed. We are all blessed for having him with us in this life. May God watch over all of you and keep you close.

He was my friend though I never knew his name. I always addressed him by his military title, as he did me. I will miss him sharing his wisdom with me. The community will miss the goodness he so readily shared and his concern for those less fortunate. Above all, he will be missed by a world that can ill afford to lose another good person.
