Praise the Lord, Good morning my Family,
First and fore most I want to say that I love each and everyone of Daddy & Mama Cox children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other family members in their respective places.
It has truly been a journey with your entire family since Daddy Cox went home to be with the Lord on last Thursday, May 17, 2018. One that I enjoyed very much getting too know some of you and we had a wonderful time just did this several months ago with Mother Cox.
I cannot even begin to tell you how to feel in this regards because we are all feel the same way in regards to Daddy Cox passing no matter what, when or how it happened.
Death comes like a thief in the night God does not make any apology for coming to take back what belongs to him so that is how it is and no matter how we feel or think God is in control.
On behalf of the Button Family and as President of the Rosemont Community we are mourning your Dad's death just like you are; we are all going through therefore want to express our sincere support and condolences to each and every one of your during your time of sorrow.
Daddy Cox was Father to so many people in Rosemont and everywhere he went all over the surrounding areas. He always had a kind word to say to you I will definitely miss him calling me "Madame President" how are you doing today" then he would encourage me no matter what was going on and say, "It does not matter what people say think; try to do to you just continue to look to the hills to the Lord and he will give you the strength to handle whatever comes your way."
Both Mama & Daddy Cox was ALWAYS there for me no matter what they were the parents to everyone especial since I lost my parents may years ago. I will always cherish all the times that we spent together keep them near and dear in my heart.
The conversations that we had most definitely will be remembered most definitely the food that Mama Cox cooked for me and Daddy Cox.
So I say to all of you that they were "Giants, icons, loving caring people who loved the Lord, children, family, Rosemont Community would do anything to help this community move forward. They were good neighbors to everyone here so we say to Daddy Cox take your well deserved rest we love you but God loves you best.
Daddy Cox is in Heaven with the Heavenly Father God and his beautiful Queen Mother Viola Cox. He would not come back if he could he is smiling and happy up there with Mama Cox his children, parents, family members, neighbors and friends having a Praise Party.
Please carry on the torch and legacy that your parents left behind they would be so proud.
Take care my brothers and sisters know that God loves you and so do the Button Family and the entire Rosemont Community.
Blessings flow if you ever need me, my family or a member of this great historical Rosemont Community call upon us.

To the Cox Family:
With saddened heart, the Wilkinson family provides our deepest condolences. Mr. Cox was a second father to us. He was so filled with wisdom and always had a kind word to say. His knowledge and skills he had was unbelievable. His words of wisdom came right on time, like he knew we needed to hear them. He was a man with dignity and pride. He will truly be missed. Just remember, he's with Ms. Cox and our Lord now. What better place to be.
