Sammie was just such an awesome Christian example of how to live and love life. Her children and grandchildren were her life and what a legacy she left. She was so proud of each of you and I can see her when I look at you. I will miss her so, those long conversations and we always laughed till we cried. I continue to hear that wonderful laugh. What a friend she was and such a sweet aunt to our children. The service was perfect and she was watching you all with pride and joy. She is with Jesus now and no more pain. Rest in Peace dear, sweet friend.

I went to high school and was a cheerleader with Sammie Lou, in Princeton, Ky, and she was always a beaming ray of sunshine. I know she will be truly missed by her family, but her memory will live on in their hearts and she will be with them wherever they go.

I am very saddened to read of the passing of Sammie Lou. She is the reason I began a teacher. I was very fortunate to get to work as her teacher's aide as she was a Head Start teacher in Princeton KY in the summer of 1969. I remember her car, it had a factory installed air conditioner! The first I ever saw! She was the sweetest person and such a role model for me. Anyone that was ever spent time with Sammie Lou will always smile when remembering her. Cathy Beavers

I knew Sammie Lou from Princeton,Kentucky. My memories of her are very special---she was a very special person-- a child of God in everts way. I've never seen her do anything except smile and laugh! May God give her family comfort during this time of sadness. I know she's looking down with nothing but smiles for everyone.
