I met Sam 6 years ago at Trident Hospital. I was the new volunteer and I learned all I needed to know from Mr. Sam. We got along really well from the moment we met. I could barely keep up with him going up and down that long hallway at Trident. He had a lot of pep in his step and might I add- a keen eye for the ladies too! We had a lot of laughs, shared many stories about life and family on our Wednesday mornings together. He affectionately labeled me Linda # 1 after Linda # 2 arrived on the scene. I will forever miss his warm and friendly smile, his soft and gentle nature and hearing him call me Linda #1! He will always have a special place in my heart. Mr. Sam, you will be missed by all who knew you. My deepest sympathy to all his family! May God bless you all!
