Saleem Rashad CHARLESTON - Mr. Saleem Abdul Rashad, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2023. Mr. Rashad was the son of Mr. Wilder Simmons, Sr. and Mrs. Margaret Simmons Bellinger, the father of Angela "Patsy" Simmons of Charleston, SC, Laquetta Denise Richardson (Edward) of Charlotte, NC, Yolonda Stewart of El Paso, TX, Sylvester Williams of Charleston, SC and D'Onna Bailey of Charleston, SC, the brother of Lafrance Harrison (the late William, Sr.) of Fairfax, SC, Rosetta Simmons Bryant of Charleston, SC, Thomas Simmons (Bobbi) of Jacksonville, FL and one sister who preceded him in death, Joanne Badger (Willie Lee) of Fairfax, SC, his significant other, Diane Lockwood of the home and devoted friend, Patricia Campbell of Charleston, SC. A memorial service honoring his life will take place on Monday, February 13, 2023, 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at: www.lowcountry mortuary.com.
