i remember when me ryan, blake, austin, and jessie where riding the bus to scotts branch school right around after hugo hit, ryan always made sure when i got to class and the bus he also made sure the bus driver did leave me at my stop if mom and dad wasn't home. he was like a proctive big brother. if mom and dad wasn't home i would go to his house and stay with him and aunt chris until my parents got home. he was one of the best cousins you could have growing up. we also stayed with my aunt chris and uncle during hugo and ryan was there with the other boy to make sure i wasn't scared. i loved him very much, i'm glad god sent him to us and he was able to stay with us as long as he could. i already miss him terribly

My thoughts and prayers are with you...I thought Ryan was a wonderful young man....always thoughtful and polite and I enjoyed several conversations with him while visiting Ryan and my son, Derek, his roommate. You were truly wonderful parents as it was reflected in Ryan. It was a joy to know him.

No mere words can ever say how sad we are for you all today. Ryan is gone way to soon on a very sad July afternoon. I know he fought with all he had so all of you would not be this sad. Ryan may be gone but he'll never be far away for in your Hearts and Memories he will live on everyday. you'll remember all the good times and try to forget about the bad for it is those times in his life that will make you sad. Hold on very tightly to your family and friends for they are the ones who will help down the rough roads that lie ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless Ryan and all of you
