Rutha had attended Friendfield Presbyterian Church while my father, James Carter, was pastor. To say that he LOVED Rutha was an understatement! She was very special to us during his illness and death and our family returns to you to same love during this very difficult time. Deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are extended to your family.

Mandy and Christy, Raynelle, Susan, Elliott, and Hope....I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and sister. I spent the last year getting to know her again, after many years, and she will be terribly missed. She was a great asset to our community. She had all the best qualities in a friend: she was funny, loving, and straightforward. Having lost both a sibling and a parent recently, I know full well the pain that you all are going through, so please, if there's anything that I can do for any of you, please don't hesitate to contact me. My prayers are with you.
