Ruth Young Memoriam

In Loving Memory Ruth H. Young Nov. 24, 1918 ~ Aug. 16, 2015 "Aunt Sister" The family of Clyde Miller Knudsen and her children Donnie, Kris, Dahle and Carol, wish to express their deepest sympathy for the loss of their dear Aunt, Ruth H. Young, age 96, of Folly Beach, SC. Ruth passed away on Sunday August 16, 2015 at her home. "Aunt Sister", as she was always endearingly known, brought much love and happy memories to our lives. We all enjoyed "cutting the rug", dancing the "Charleston" and the "Shag" with her laughing and smiling. Sister's "Charleston-Geechee" accent will always remain clearly in our memories as well. Her niece, Carol, recalled a time having dinner at her parent's house with the family when "Aunt Sister", asked her dear son, Matthew if he wanted some "Mo Poke"? Matthew looked puzzled then turned and asked , " Mamma, what is mo poke?"Carol laughed and said "That's more pork". "Aunt Sister", you will be missed by all who are fortunate enough to have had you in their lives. Your Husband Tommy, along with many other wonderful souls will be waiting with open arms to greet you into the Gates of Heaven.
