Ruth Kennedy Obituary

Ruth Kennedy BETHANY, OK - Ruth Anne Kennedy, 73, of Bethany, died at home from natural causes on Aug. 14. Anne was born to Mary Ruth and Ernest Eugene Kennedy in Charleston, S.C. in 1939. After graduating from Bishop England High School, Anne lived and worked in Charleston until meeting her husband James V. Son and giving birth to her daughter. Later, she would come to Oklahoma and spend many happy years raising her daughter, supporting her church and enjoying a long and successful career in the local real estate community. Anne is survived by her daughter Wendy and son-in-law Joe, of Oklahoma, her sister Mary and brother Ernie, both of Charleston and many dear friends, family and loved ones who will miss her enjoyable disposition, easy smile and kind heart. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Oklahoma, Tuesday Aug. 20. Anne will be "going home" to Charleston for a memorial and private burial.
