Ruth Hughes Ridgeville, SC - Ruth Hughes, 95, of Ridgeville, the wife of the late Dickie Hughes, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2020. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2022 for a visitation from 11 o'clock until 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1 o'clock. Burial to follow at Cummings Chapel. Ruth was born on February 22, 1927 to the late James and Bernice Davis. Ruth was a devoted Christian her entire life. She was married to Dickie Hughes for 60 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and being with her family. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by three brothers, Willard Davis, Fred Davis, Donald Davis and sister, Betty Rogers.
