Dear Tollefson, Holdiman, Finley clans,

We all grieve for a lady who impacted so many of our lives. She was a honey! I remember her laugh and the twinkle in her eyes. But how exciting to realize she isn't old - or sick anymore! She's having the time of her life! Can't you hear her laughter and see that twinkle again as she finds and hugs so many family members and dear friends. They have probably taken her sightseeing all over heaven by now. But first she went to greet Jesus!

I loved and valued Aunt Ruth. When I was a kid, I knew she loved me. As I grew up she followed my life with interest. Through letters she showed she cared about our ministry in Africa. I always knew she prayed. When times were hard and we saw danger, Aunt Ruth was there - far away but so close in prayer! When she receives her rewards someday for all she's done on earth, I want to be there to clap and cheer! And to yell, "Go for it, Aunt Ruth! You deserve them all!"

Love,

Marilyn

Dear Tollefson/Holdiman/Finley families,

Aunt Ruth was a very special lady to me. I still remember her laugh and the twinkle in her eyes. And though we'll miss her here, can't you visualize her there, as she keeps finding more friends and relatives to hug and rejoice with? She's having the time of her life!

Aunt Ruth was special to me. I knew she loved me as a child, and later her letters showed me she was behind us with her prayers as we ministered in Africa. I thank God for the privilege of having her as my aunt! God bless each of you!

Love, Marilyn

Aunt Ruth was very special to me. She and my mother,Neva Plotts, looked so much a like I said they were "2 peas in a pod". Her visits to Lake Charles were special and we had a lot of fun when she came. She will be missed but is so happy in 'her new home'.

Our sympathy and prayers are with the remaining family.

Ruth was a dear, dear Aunt to me. We talked often on the phone since I wasn't able to visit her very often due to the distance between us. She said she would save a place right next door for me so we could be close when I get to Heaven. I will truly miss her but intend to see her some day in 'her new home'.
